Thanks for posting those pictures. I haven't seen those gravesites in years. I just realized that it has been 30 years since Grandma Ray's passing. I still remember that day well. I was almost 4 years old.
That was neat to see, I don't think I've ever been there.
Post Script:I ran from my house to the cemetery on Saturday with the kids (3 on bikes, 2 in a jogging stroller).There was an open grave and chairs set up for a burial that day (no one was around). I took the kids over and we looked down in (surprisingly deep).I think it was a good opportunity to talk to the kids about life and death and how we honor our dead.
