We go every year with the Farnsworth family (Christmas gift from Ross and Anita) at the end of January, first of February. We go over on Sunday night and then hit the park Monday and Tuesday. You want to make sure you avoid California state holidays and national when California schools are out because the locals will flood the park with nasty high school couples that grope eachother. There is also a "gay day" in October but that is irrelevent to your plans.

But if you go on gay day, you can get cheaper tickets if you buy them through the gay day organizers.

Tuesday was a good day for us.

have a california resident pick some up tickets for you they get discounts. we went the first week of December and it was wonderful. The park was all decorated for Christmas and we literally just ran to get on every ride, no crowds

we went one time in mid-october and it was fabulous!!
i reccommend going in the winter because you dont get as many crowds.
but you need to come with us ---we are thinking about going in february when we are totally fed up with the rain.

Here's the link to a site that gives the attendance at Disneyland in a graph that is really easy to read:

We go alot. There's a great La Quinta that's really close that has a children's suite for $100 a night that we like. Free breakfast and a tram that takes you right to Disneyland! Better than paying for parking...

Can I come, please?

You can take your own food into the park. Just no glass. It saves a bundle. You still have to show everything you bring. In fact, you can even bring in a cooler and put it into a locker. (we just had PBJ, snacks and drinks for any line waiting)

My suggestion, pick a hotel with free shuttle or nearly free. Go play in the mornings, go back for the kids naps (and parent naps) and then head back to the park for some serious play time until late in the night. Most of the food is so-so inside the park anyway, although we ended up liking the soup bowls near Pirates of the Carribean.

have fun,

Love the Sheraton Anaheim Resort, Very large rooms, free shuttle. Definatly go mid week and take advantage of the stroller passes! We never waited more than 20 min. with this little secret. I'll give you all the details of this unpublished little secret at the girls next singing performance! Go Desert Divas!

I have a Deluxe Season pass and I try to go at least once a month. The colder months are the best time to go - the locals don't like the cold! :-) Tuesdays are a great day to go to Disneyland. It's starting to get cold now that's it December, but January is also a good month.

People sell tickets on ebay that you can buy outright or bid for.

You can always bring in your own food, I would say the cheapest food is in Tomorrowland at the outside dining area, across from Nemo. They have burgers and things or if you want something more hearty - above the Pirates of the Carribean ride is a place that sells really good gumbo in a breadbowl. If you decide to leave the park to eat, go east out of the entrance and there's a Red Robin or Denny's right outside the park. There is an IHOP south of the park entrance but it's a little farther away.

The Days Inn is directly across the street from Disneyland (there are two in Anaheim, so be carefull which one you are calling). They have reasonable prices (about $70 a night) and they have rooms with bunk beds and you can request a room with a view of the park - at night you can see the fireworks from your room!

Super Bowl SUnday is definetely not the least crouded day of the year. I went on superbowl sunday last year and it was very crouded. More crouded than a regular day. I was very surprised..
